Ray W. Taylor, Jr., 86, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026. He was the devoted husband of the late Norma J. (Fauth) Taylor, with whom he shared 68 years of marriage until her passing on June 1, 2026.
Born in York on June 12, 1940, he was the son of the late Ray W. Taylor, Sr. and Velma (Stabley) Taylor.
Ray was a hardworking businessman and the owner and operator of Ray Taylor & Son since 1966, dedicating much of his life to serving his community through the family business. Outside of work, he found great enjoyment in restoring classic cars, traveling, camping, hunting, and tending to his garden. Above all else, Ray cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and the many memories they created together.
He is survived by his two children, Timothy R. Taylor, Sr. and his wife, Donna, and Bonnie Warfel and her husband, Mark; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Jim Taylor and his late wife, Carolyn, Bob Taylor and his wife, Linda, Ruth Kopp, Barry Taylor and his wife, Rose, Terry Taylor and his wife, Nancy, Paul Taylor, Cathy Moritz and her late husband, Jim, Donna Kopp and her husband, Randy, Sue Taylor and her husband, Gary Jones, and Lisa Fuller and her husband, Rob.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his son, Michael Fauth and his daughter, Debra Hawkes.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main Street, Dallastown, PA 17313. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , the Dementia Society of America, or Heartland Hospice.
