Richard L. Snyder, 70 of Red Lion passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home.

Born January 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Richard and Violet (Warner) Snyder.

Richard loved his career as a teacher, and was an avid tennis player at the Red Lion Tennis Club.

He is survived by 6 cousins: Sandy Sheffer of Jacobus, PA, Barry Warner of Dallas, PA, Suzanne Dehoff and her husband, Gerald of Windsor, PA, Diane Smith and her husband, Gene of Red Lion, PA, Sherry Fongarvest and her husband, Jim of Red Lion, PA and Debbie Shupp and her husband, Jeff of Downington, PA.

A graveside service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at 10 am on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Mt. Rose Cemetery; 1502 Mt. Rose Ave.; York, PA 17403 with Pastor Thomas Osenbach officiating. Guests in attendance are asked to arrive by 9:45 am at the main gate on Mt. Rose Avenue.
