Obituary

Richard "Rick" W. Reisinger, 90, of Dallastown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27 th , at the Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Marilyn T. (Royer) Reisinger.

Mr. Reisinger was born in Dallastown on March 27, 1931 and was the son of the late Charles and Viola (Noll) Reisinger.

Rick proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Following service to his country, he worked for Yorktowne Kitchens in the shipping department and retired after 44 years of service.

Rick was a member of the Dallastown American Legion Post 605. He loved fishing and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and going to the horse races.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, William Reisinger and his wife Julie, of Dover, Robert Reisinger, of Dallastown, and Lisa Fierro and her husband Michael, of Elkridge, MD; grandchildren, Tyler Reisinger, and Shanda Burrows, both of York, and Samuel and Rachel Fierro of Elkridge, MD. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Sawyer Fromm and Mila Burrows; brother, Charles Reisinger, of Santa Clarita, CA; former daughter-in-law, Dezirae Greenawalt; caregiver, Rita Arnett, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Giknis and a brother, Frederick Reisinger.

Per Rick's wishes, there will be no services at this time, following cremation.
