Obituary

Robert G. Cook, 83, of Red Lion, passed away at his residence on Friday, January 3, 2025,  while surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly (Stokes) Cook.

Mr. Cook was born in York on June 21, 1941 and was the son of the late Anthony and Violet (Fishel) Cook.

"Cook" proudly served in the United States Army. Following his service to his country, he began working at Caterpillar , Inc., where he later retired from as a welder. Cook enjoyed taking trips to the ocean with his father and son, where they loved fishing together.

He is survived by his three children, Lori Hatterer and her husband Jeff, of East Prospect, Sherry Cook and John Cook, both of Red Lion. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Amanda Mendes, Nicole McAllister, Corbin Cook, Tracey Kohler and Daniel Hatterer, as well as six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Cook, Jr., and his sister, Phyllis Daugherty.

Per Cook's wishes, all services are private.
