Robert W. Seitz, 83 of York passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Rest Haven.  He was the beloved husband of the late Theda A. (Hildebrand) Seitz, who passed on December 10, 2020.

Born November 6, 1938 in Dallastown, he was a son of the late Paul and Daisy (Mundis) Seitz.

Robert was a proud U.S. Navy veteran.  He then served for many years as a draftsman for Koppers, and later worked for 10 years at York Revolution Stadium.  He was very faithful and active in his church, Aldersgate United Methodist in York.  He also loved animals, especially dogs.  Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff of Rest Haven for the exceptional care and friendship they showed to Robert.

Mr. Seitz is survived by 2 children: Susan E. Paules and her husband, Tim of York and Chad W. Seitz and his girlfriend, Cathy Dettinger of York; 3 grandchildren: Tyler B. Paules and his wife, Carly of York, Derek R. Paules of Pittsburgh and Lauren D. Paules of York; 2 great-grandchildren: Tian B. Paules of York and Brinlee R. Paules of York as well as 1 niece, Linda Myers and her husband, Bruce.

A graveside service to celebrate Robert's life will be held in private in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Rinley.
