Roger J. Martin, 68, of Dallastown, passed away at Genesis – Inners Creek on Thursday, October 31, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 23 years to Karen L. (Riedel) Martin.

Mr. Martin was born in Tatabyna, Hungary on June 20, 1956 and was the son of the late Sandor J. and Iren (Berko) Martin.

Roger immigrated from Hungary to Sprague, Ontario in 1957. He attended WC Eakart High School and graduated from George Brown College in Toronto, Canada.  Roger worked as a mechanical estimator and previously worked for Frey Mechanical, Frey Lutz, Johnson Controls and most recently, Reynolds Inc. He loved hockey and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and going on road trips with his wife. He also loved his four-legged friends, Mandy, Benji, and Bonsai.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Roxanne Pitchenese (Myles), Michelle Martin (Isadora), Christopher Longo (Melissa), Corey Burns (Lindsay) and Caleb Burns (Taysha). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nina Burns, Chloe Burns, Elizabeth Burns, Charlotte Burns, Nicholas Cada, Eleanor Cada and Carter O'Donnell, as well as his dear friends, Rick and Carol Seton, Jack Markey, Steve Ziegler.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the Dallastown American Legion Post # 605, 57 W. Main St. Dallastown, PA 17313. For those attending, please dress casually.
