Romaine E. (Waltermyer) Beaverson, 97 of York, formerly of Martinsville passed away Sunday, October 15, at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Clair I. Beaverson.

Mrs. Beaverson was born in Winterstown on February 20, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Esther (Johnson) Waltermyer.

Survivng are a daughter, Shirley R. Smeltzer of Dover and a son, Charles F. Beaverson of East Prospect. She is also survived by her brother, Titus Waltermyer and his wife Imelda of Felton; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Melvin McMillion.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda L. McMillion; and a son-in-law, Kenneth E. Smeltzer.

Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family.
