Rosalie A. "Rose" Godfrey, 68 of Felton passed away at home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Born March 13, 1954 in York, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Caroline L. (Sterner) Godfrey.

Rosalie read her bible every day.  She also loved word puzzles, yard sales, cats, sitting on the front porch watching the deer, and sitting on the back porch watching the goats and admiring the stars at night.

Ms. Godfrey is survived by three siblings: Mary J. Godfrey of Delaware, Richard W. Godfrey and his wife, Brenda of Felton and Edith A. Seigman (wife of the late Bernard, Sr.) of East Prospect; two sisters-in-law: Judy K. Godfrey of Felton and Connie Godfrey of Tennessee, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: George, Frank, Jim and Kate Godfrey.

A funeral service to celebrate Rosalie's life will be held on Monday, September 19 ^th at 11am at Codorus Church of the Brethren; 1129 Dunkard Valley Rd. in Dallastown with Rev. Dave Krape officiating.  Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be at the church on Monday from 10am until the start of the service.
