Rose Marie (Lutz) Harnish, 89, of York Township, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Feathers and Ralph W. Harnish.

Mrs. Harnish was born in Portage, PA on January 1, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Michael Lutz, Sr. and Anna (Wargo) Lutz.

For many years Rose was a homemaker until her children grew older. She then went to work as a pharmacy tech for EPCO Pharmacy, a job she held for many years. She was a member of Bethlehem Life Church and the Women's Friendship Club of York County. She loved to travel and was an avid player of pinochle and bridge. Rose loved spending time with her family, especially her treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren, and hosting family get togethers during the holidays.

She is survived by her three children, Robert Feathers and his wife Christine, Michelle Fitz and her husband John, Patricia Bowersox and her husband David: stepchildren, Judy Sprenkle and Jim Harnish and his wife Audrey. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: seven great grandchildren, as well as many step grandchildren.

A service to honor Rose's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 30, 2024, at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Pastor David Stough officiating.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private.
