Red Lion
Rose M. (Royer) Wagman, 88, of Red Lion, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at WellSpan York Hospital.
Born on July 6, 1936, in Red Lion, Rose was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Sterner) Royer. A devoted homemaker throughout her life, Rose's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Dallastown, where she found community and support.
Above all, Rose cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was immeasurable. She is survived by her son, Michael Wagman and his wife Renee; her beloved grandchildren, Amanda Jacobs, Heather Thoms, Tiffany Keefer, and Dalton Wagman; and three great-granddaughters. Rose also leaves behind her sister, Marylin Reisinger; her brother, Timothy Royer; and a constant source of comfort and companionship was her cat Muffie.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Wagman Keefer, and three siblings, Patricia Mellinger, Richard Royer, and Charles Royer.
A service to celebrate Rose's life will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Deacon Daniel Bernardy officiating. A viewing will take place at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment will follow at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
