Sara E. (Stough) Klinedinst, 90, of York, previously of Jacobus, passed away at UPMC Memorial on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph L. Klinedinst.

Mrs. Klinedinst was born in Jacobus on December 2, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Allen and Carrie (Hess) Stough.

Sara was a 1948 graduate of William Penn High School. She previously worked for Miller's Country Market, the A&P and the Dallastown School District. She was a longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church in Jacobus, where she sang in the choir for many years. She enjoyed travelling and attending dog shows, as well as feeding and watching the wildlife in her backyard. Sara and Ralph had a cabin in Centre County, which they enjoyed for 20 years. She was also a cub scout den mother in Jacobus for many years.

She is survived by her three children, Kelly Skiptunas and her husband Dr. Anthony, Daryl Klinedinst and his wife Cindy, and Keith Klinedinst. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Stough as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Stough and daughter-in-law Jill Klinedinst.

A funeral service to honor Sara's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 21 ^st at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Rd., Jacobus, PA 17407, with Pastor Tina Minnich officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday and will begin at 12:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment will follow in Salem Union Cemetery.
