Shirley A. Snyder, 76, of Red Lion, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on Sunday, March 28 ^th .

Mrs. Snyder was born in York on June 3, 1944 and was the daughter of the late Norman and Anna (Keller) Snyder.

Shirley worked for Keystone Color Works, where she was vice president and office manager, and retired after more than 30 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked parttime for the York Newspaper Company.   Shirley was a devout Christian and had attended Bethany United Methodist Church. She liked working outside and loved animals, especially her "grand dogs."  In her younger years she enjoyed going hunting and fishing with her companion, Dave.  Shirley will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey E. Snyder of Red Lion; brother, Richard Snyder and his wife Mary of Felton; nieces, JoAnne Lewis and her husband Gary of Red Lion and Linda Hogue and her husband Kenny of York. She is also survived by cousins, her extended family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her long-time companion, Dave Deller.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 10 ^th at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St. Dallastown, with Rev. Ron Doverspike officiating. A public visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, and will begin at 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private.
