Sylvester "Wes" Eveler, 93 of York Township, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at his residence.  He was the beloved husband of the late Marcella M. (Thoman) Eveler.

Mr. Eveler was born in Brogue on September 6, 1926 and was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Fishel) Eveler.

Sylvester proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He previously worked for Gichner Systems Group.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel, Wilbur, Miles, Dale Thomas, Walter and Raymond and his sisters, Beulah, Gladys, Ruth and Charlotte.

A graveside service to celebrate Sylvester's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 9 ^th at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery entrance by 1:45 PM.
