Sylvia Sue (Edmondson) Haynes, 80, of Red Lion, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 18 th , with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of Clyde R. Haynes.

Mrs. Haynes was born on December 12, 1941 in Welch, WV and was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Bertha E. (Blackburn) Edmondson.

Sylvia retired from Bethlehem Steel after many years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and was her entire world.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Ernest Keene, Sandra Webster and her husband JR, and Michael Haynes and his wife Michelle. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joe and Tonya Keene, James Webster and his wife Tiffany, Anthony Webster and his wife Marlana, Stephanie Steele and her husband Bobby, Courtney Heberlig and her husband Kolby, and Michael Haynes, Jr., as well as many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and her sister.

A service to honor Sylvia's life will be held at noon on Monday, January 24 th at The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, with Rev. Kevin Becker officiating.  A viewing and a time of visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Monday and will begin at 11:00 AM until the start of the service. Interment to follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
