Warren D. Wambaugh passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 89 at Country Meadows - West.

Warren was born on January 31, 1935 in Spry, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen W. Wambaugh; parents, Warren B. and Helen K. Wambaugh; sister, Deborah J. Grim, and great-grandson, Joel Wambaugh.

He is survived by his children, Julie Wambaugh (David Funkhouser), John Wambaugh (Jeanne Wambaugh), and James Wambaugh (Tammy Wambaugh), six grandchildren (Erika Lutkins, Emily Wambaugh, Kevin Funkhouser, Adam Wambaugh, Alyssa Glosser, Andrew Wambaugh), and eight great-grandchildren (Riley, Rohan, Elliot, Tanner, Blair, Bryce, Brookes, Presley).

Warren was a graduate of York High School and completed his bachelor's degree at Millerville State College. He taught fifth grade for more than 30 years at McKinley Elementary School and often directed summer playground programs. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, golfing, and following sports. Warren was a devoted husband, son, and father who enjoyed many lifelong friendships.
