William W. Blymire, Sr., 62 of York passed away peacefully at Manorcare in Dallastown on Friday, January 13, 2023.

Born September 14, 1960 in York, he was a son of Ruth N. (Wagner) Blymire and the late Ted Blymire.

Mr. Blymire is fondly remembered as a dedicated hard worker.  He served a long successful career with Greydon, Inc. and was a faithful member of the Lions Club.  He also loved fishing, kayaking and camping.

William is survived by four children: Dr. William W. Blymire, Jr. and his wife, Dr. Maria Oliveira of Buffalo, NY, Jason Blymire of Enola, PA, Benjamin Blymire and his wife, Ashley of Windsor, PA and Brandon Blymire and his wife, Vanessa of Hummelstown, PA; four siblings, Raymond Blymire, Ed Blymire, Carla Firth and Jennifer Weitkamp; six grandchildren: Laurel, Cassie, Wesley, Cadence, Madalynn and Grayson, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate William's life will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 18 ^th at Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc; 104 W. Main St. in Dallastown with Pastor Ed Ross officiating.  Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.  A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will also be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11am until the start of the service.
