William E. "Bill" Myers, 78, of Dallastown went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Nickel) Myers.
Born July 16, 1939 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Lester L. and Florence C. (Senft) Myers.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Bill was a member of the Dallastown American Legion Post # 605. He was also a flea market enthusiast. Most of all, Bill is remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a dedicated member of Red Lion Bible Church. He also enjoyed attending Victory Baptist Church, where his grandson is a pastor.
In addition to his wife, Donna, Bill is survived by 3 children: Wayne W. Myers and his wife, Judy of Dallastown, Wanda W. Almoney and her husband, Anthony of Red Lion and Kandace K. Brock and her husband, Dennis of Dallastown. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 1st at Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd., Red Lion with Pastor Steve A. Schmuck and Bill's grandson, Pastor Jason M. Myers officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity view will also be on Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will immediately follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's name may be made to Red Lion Bible Church at the above address.
