Obituary

Woodrow "Woody" Wilson, Jr, 88, of Red Lion, passed away at York South Nursing and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

Mr. Wilson was born in York on January 10, 1936, and was the son of the late Woodrow and Edna Mae (Grove) Wilson.

For much of his life, Woody was a farmer or involved in farming in one shape or form. He also worked as a plumber assistant and a mason assistant. He enjoyed the outdoors, and especially loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Stough and her husband Butch and Lori Deller. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Naomi, AJ, Brianne and JR.; as well as several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Wilson; brother, Terry Wilson and son in law, Larry Deller.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be held by the family at 10:00 am on November 23, 2024 at Bethlehem Stonepile Church, 250 Bethlehem Church Rd, Red Lion, PA. Following the service will be a small luncheon and time to visit and share memories of Mr. Wilson with the family.
